Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using our website or services.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the TKBNet website or requesting our services you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclosures. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2. Who we are
TKBNet is an independent technical support company. We are not an internet service provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or the official support department of any internet provider or equipment manufacturer. Company and product names are the property of their owners.
3. The services
What we provide: technical support and troubleshooting for customer-owned home-network equipment and connected devices (such as routers, modems, mesh systems, Wi-Fi and device connectivity), setup and configuration guidance, and general information about home internet.
What we do not provide: internet service; access to or changes on your provider account; resolution of outages, line faults or billing disputes; repairs or replacement of hardware; or any guarantee that a problem will be resolved. Some problems require your provider, a manufacturer or an on-site technician.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and the owner of, or authorized to manage, the equipment and accounts you ask us to help with. Services are intended for consumers in the United States.
5. Fees and payment
Any fee is told to you before it applies, and you must agree before we charge you. Our current fees are: [fee schedule]. We accept [payment methods] through a secure processor, and we never need your provider password. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Taxes may apply.
6. Remote access
We may offer to connect to your computer or device to help. This happens only with your explicit consent, using a tool we identify to you. You can end the session at any time, you should close private files and accounts beforehand, and you should not allow remote access if you are not comfortable.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your equipment and problem.
- Back up important data before changing device settings.
- Follow safety instructions when handling electrical equipment.
- Do not share passwords or payment details except as described in these terms.
- Use the services lawfully and respectfully toward our staff.
8. Third-party equipment and warranties
Changing settings on equipment may affect its performance or a manufacturer or provider warranty. We are not responsible for terms set by manufacturers or providers.
9. No guarantees
Internet performance depends on many factors outside our control, including your provider's network, your home layout and your devices. The services and website are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Acceptable use of the website
Do not misuse the website, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it to infringe rights or break the law.
11. Intellectual property
The website content, guides, design and TKBNet name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print guides for personal use, but may not copy or republish them commercially without permission.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TKBNet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or downtime, arising from the services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to it in the preceding [12] months. Some states do not allow certain limits, so they may not apply to you. [Counsel to finalize.]
13. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for losses arising from your misuse of the services or breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law. [Counsel to finalize.]
14. Suspension and termination
We may stop providing services to anyone who abuses staff, provides false information or uses the services unlawfully. You may stop using the services at any time.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. [Dispute resolution, venue and arbitration terms to be finalized by counsel.] Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
16. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the date of the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
